MoaNyang Privacy Policy
- No sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, or phone number.
- Your records stay on your device. Your savings, daily log, wish list, pixel art, and settings are never sent to our server.
- Photos are sent to an AI service only to turn them into pixel art. Our server does not store photos, the AI service (fal.ai) is set not to keep a record of the request, and the generated image is deleted within one hour.
- Our server keeps only three things: a random device identifier, how many films you have left, and — if you buy films — the Apple transaction number and product.
- No ads, no tracking, no cookies. We do not collect the advertising identifier (IDFA).

This policy explains how the developer and operator of the MoaNyang app ("we") handle information when you use the app. MoaNyang is operated by an individual developer based in the Republic of Korea.
1. Information we collect

We never receive payment details. Apple processes all payments; we do not collect or store card or bank information.
Please photograph only the item. If a person’s face or other personal information appears in a photo, it will be sent to the conversion service as is.
Information that stays on your device — your savings, daily log, item names, prices and pixel art, coins, accessories, and settings are stored only on your device. We cannot see them.
2. How long we keep it

Expired records are deleted automatically every day. Because the identifier is kept in the Keychain, it survives deleting and reinstalling the app, and your remaining films carry over. If you stop using the app, the server record is deleted on the schedule above. The identifier in the Keychain is removed when you erase the iPhone.
3. Service providers
We do not sell or share your information with third parties. We use these service providers, both located in the United States, to run the app:

To verify purchases, we look up the transaction number on Apple’s App Store server (Apple Inc., United States). Apple holds the original payment records.
Before the app sends a photo for the first time, it tells you that photos are sent to an external AI service and asks for your consent. If you decline, you can’t add new items by photo, but everything else — logging, the calendar, and the shop — keeps working.
When you share an image with the app’s share button or to Instagram Stories, it goes directly from your device to the app you choose; it does not pass through us. You decide each time whether to include an amount in the image.
4. Tracking and advertising
The app does not use cookies, the advertising identifier (IDFA), analytics tools, or any tracking technology, and does not show ads.
5. Security
All communication between the app, our server, and our providers is encrypted with HTTPS. Only the operator can access the server and database, and service access keys are kept in the server’s secret storage, never in the app. We keep as little as possible and delete expired records automatically.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it, by emailing sokurihj@gmail.com. Because there is no sign-in, we don’t know who you are; when you contact us we’ll explain how to identify your record (for example, the date and product of a purchase). We do not charge for requests and will respond within 30 days. Information stored only on your device can be removed by deleting the app.
Depending on where you live (for example, California or other U.S. states), you may have additional rights under local law. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Children
The app does not ask for information that identifies you and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian may contact us to access or delete records related to their child.
8. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, and at least 30 days before for significant changes.
